Vitamin D3 is a major contributor to skin cell metabolism and growth. The bulk of Vitamin D we obtain is formed on the skin via a reaction between natural fatty acids and sunlight. The simplest way to boost levels is by soaking up ultraviolet rays, however, in gray northern climates, the sun is too weak to trigger the vitamin’s synthesis. Vitamin D prevents premature aging and can result in the reduction of the appearance of “age spots.” D-mystified is provided as cholecalciferol, identical to the form in which it is derived in the body from cholesterol and synthesized by sunlight on the skin.
Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) 2000 IU.
Take one to two softgels daily.
